- Create & maintain Motorola Web Pages.

- For 5 years experience maintaining 50 Macintoshes in the Finance Department. Problem solved (95% software, 5% hardware), upgraded software provided software support. Instrumental in converting the Finance department from PCs to Macs. Determined need and purchased hardware and software.
- Set up computer links between Mesa and offshore plants and links between employees home computers and Motorolas mainframe computers.
Created and produced a Finance newsletter with news of team and corporate activities and information. Initially distributed in printed newsletter format (8.5 x 11 brochure) using Pagemaker and later created in Word and delivered via email.
Motorola Cost Accountant
1990-1997
- Responsible for monthly accounting closing functions, including account reconciliation for the Photoshop, Military and Logic group semiconductor operations.
- Responsible for accounting standards maintenance. Set up new product lines by attaching cost blocks to the products,
- Supervised Fixed Assets inventory for the Phoenix Motorola.
- Performed monthly close for worldwide financial consolidations. Included programming to keep mainframe programs current.
- Point of contact for Excel, PowerPoint, Word (now using Microsoft Office 98) and other Mac program solutions for Analysts, Controllers and other finance employees.
- Created and maintained Excel finance worksheets & charts with heavy use of formulas and macros (Visual Basic). Most visible was a worldwide Scrap Report, which utilized data from numerous sources and automatically extracted appropriate information and imported the data into the database. Assisted with export compliance, which included automating data input and report generation using Filemaker Pro.
- Created annual PowerPoint presentations for internal group competitions.

- Interpretation of customer requirements, analysis of product failures, conducting engineering experiments to resolve product problems, and customer contact and design reviews. Prior to use of IBM PCs, created programs using BASIC on a HP 9842 tape computer.

- Created and maintains the "Library of Photography" web page for photography enthusiasts and editors using HTML programming. Web page received a 4-Star (highest) rating in "Internet Underground" Magazine in 1996. 1999 Attending (6 classes) Phoenix College. Major: Computer Graphics. Classes in Photoshop for Photographers, Photoshop for Retouching, Intermediate Photoshop, Intermediate Illustrator, Digital Prepress (Intermediate QuarkXPress), and Painter. I am on an A Track for all classes and will be done in mid-May. One of my images won second place in the Phoenix College Art Show (150 entries) and the image is currently on display at the school.
