1997-1998

• Create & maintain Motorola Web Pages.
• Converted users to Netscape email and provided Netscape instruction.
• Responsible to maintain Windows NT servers for two Motorola manufacturing plants.
• Provided Macintosh desktop Support.

1992-1997

• For 5 years experience maintaining 50 Macintoshes in the Finance Department. Problem solved (95% software, 5% hardware), upgraded software provided software support. Instrumental in converting the Finance department from PC’s to Macs. Determined need and purchased hardware and software.
• Set up computer links between Mesa and offshore plants and links between employee’s home computers and Motorola’s mainframe computers.

Created and produced a Finance newsletter with news of team and corporate activities and information. Initially distributed in printed newsletter format (8.5 x 11 brochure) using Pagemaker and later created in Word and delivered via email.

1990-1997

• Responsible for monthly accounting closing functions, including account reconciliation for the Photoshop, Military and Logic group semiconductor operations.
• Responsible for accounting standards maintenance. Set up new product lines by attaching cost blocks to the products,
• Supervised Fixed Assets inventory for the Phoenix Motorola.
• Performed monthly close for worldwide financial consolidations. Included programming to keep mainframe programs current.
• Point of contact for Excel, PowerPoint, Word (now using Microsoft Office 98) and other Mac program solutions for Analysts, Controllers and other finance employees.
• Created and maintained Excel finance worksheets & charts with heavy use of formulas and macros (Visual Basic). Most visible was a worldwide Scrap Report, which utilized data from numerous sources and automatically extracted appropriate information and imported the data into the database. Assisted with export compliance, which included automating data input and report generation using Filemaker Pro.
• Created annual PowerPoint presentations for internal group competitions.

1986-1990

• Overall manufacturing and technical responsibility for emitter-coupled-logic semiconductor yields, test methods, process improvements, new products and procedures, and the overall quality of product from Probe to Customer.
• Interaction with Design, Layout, Wafer Processing, Equipment Engineering, Test Engineering, Production Control, Marketing, customers and various other technical and non-technical groups.

1981-1986

• Product responsibility for the Motorola Emitter Coupled Logic semi-conductor family of products to ensure smooth and profitable flow through the manufacturing process.
• Interpretation of customer requirements, analysis of product failures, conducting engineering experiments to resolve product problems, and customer contact and design reviews. Prior to use of IBM PC’s, created programs using BASIC on a HP 9842 tape computer.

Feb 1993-Present Sun Lakes, Arizona

• Sole owner of Dast Photo stock photography business. Provide national magazines with wildlife and scenic stock photos, including Arizona Highways Magazine and Calendars, AAA Highroads and Reptile & Amphibian. Also have started Dastcom Graphics for web page design and computer graphics.
• Created and maintained accounting records using Managing Your Money. Slide Inventory, billing and other databases maintained on Excel. Adobe Photoshop and other graphic programs used for photo scanning and manipulation.

1995-Present

• Created and maintains the "Library of Photography" web page for photography enthusiasts and editors using HTML programming. Web page received a 4-Star (highest) rating in "Internet Underground" Magazine in 1996. The main page is now called Dastcom Graphics with my own domain name and has information links to web page design, links, Macs, and Dast Photo. Address is http://www.dastcom.com.
